I also feel that long-distance driving has become much easier.
I've been thinking again about why long-distance driving used to be so tiring for me.
長距離の運転がとても楽になったとも感じています。
昔、なぜ長距離の運転が疲れたのか、改めて考えてみました。

I felt that each of the following situations was accompanied by some tension.
以下、それぞれに緊張があったと思えました。

1. Accelerator and brake operation (and clutch and gear shifting at the time)
   アクセル、ブレーキ操作（当時はクラッチと変速操作も）
2. Maintaining the lane
   車線の維持
3. Paying attention to the surroundings
   周囲への注意
4. Understanding road curves, etc.
   道路のカーブ等の把握

I feel that these things are greatly supported by technology.
これらが、技術によって大きく支援されているのだなと感じています。

As a result, I feel that not only is driving easier, but I'm also able to pay more attention to my surroundings, which reduces fatigue and ultimately improves safety.
その結果、運転が楽になるだけでなく、周囲への注意がしすくなり、疲れも軽減され、安全の向上に繋がっているのかなと感じています。
