海の森公園

I went to Umi no Mori Park in Koto Ward, Tokyo, which just opened at the end of March 2025.
2025年3月末にオープンしたばかりの東京都江東区にある、海の森公園に行ってきました。

Today I'd like to introduce you to a new spot in Tokyo.
今日は東京の新しいスポットの紹介です。

The location is here.
場所はここです。

It's located on a new island in Tokyo Bay.
東京湾にある、新しい島の中にあるのです。

It's about a 20-minute drive from my house. I'm happy to have a new park in my neighborhood.
私の家からは車で20分ほど。近所に新しい公園ができて、うれしいです。

Since I went with my three children, we weren't able to move around very widely and couldn't see all the areas.
子ども3人と一緒に行ったので、あまり広範囲に移動できず、全部のエリアは見て回ることができませんでした。

The road in front of the parking lot. You can see the gate-bridge, commonly known as the Dinosaur Bridge.
駐車場の前の道。通称、恐竜橋と呼ばれるゲートブリッジが見えます。

The planes landing at Haneda Airport felt so close.
羽田空港に着陸する飛行機をすぐ近くに感じました。

The center of the park is a hill and is quite large.
公園の中心部は丘になっていて、かなり広かったです。

There was also a drink vending machine under the ring roof.
リング状の屋根の下には飲み物の自動販売機もありました。

You can also see the Sky Tree from the gap in the forest.
森の隙間からはスカイツリーも見えます。

There was a pipe I saw on another blog. I wonder what it's for.
他のブログでも見たパイプがありました。何のためにあるんでしょうね。

A road through the forest. I can't believe it's Tokyo Bay.
森の中の道。東京湾とは思えないです。

I came down to the seaside. When you look at this place, you realize that you are actually in Tokyo Bay.
海辺に降りてきました。ここを見ると、東京湾の中なんだなと実感します。

The playground equipment we wanted to go to. My kids played here for two hours. (ﾉд-｡)
これも目指していた遊具。うちの子どもたちは、ここで2時間遊んでいました。(ﾉд-｡)
