The water tower in the picture is often found in old apartment complexes.
The water is raised to the top once, and the water pressure when it falls down supplies water to the complex.
Many of the water towers in apartment complexes in Japan are of this shape.

When I was a child, I wondered what it was. I wondered.

God's house. Doesn't it look like a house of God? (^-^)

Cooking

DSC_3856.JPG

Simmer udon soup, sake, mirin, light soy sauce, thin slices of beef, onions, and green onions.

DSC_3857.JPG

The mirin and the fat from the beef make the soup a little sweet, and the udon noodles are served in it.

Harumi Bridge (Harumi Kyoryo)
This bridge is the remains of a railroad that used to run here.

It's very cool.
My wife's grandfather was a train driver, and he may have run a train around here.  It is a very moving place.

On this day, they were doing reinforcement work.

There are other railroad remains in Tokyo, and I would like to report on them before they disappear.

The "Otabisho" is a facility associated with Sumiyoshi Shrine.
It is a place for the gods to rest or stay during their journey.
