Harumi Bridge (Harumi Kyoryo)
This bridge is the remains of a railroad that used to run here.

It's very cool.
My wife's grandfather was a train driver, and he may have run a train around here.  It is a very moving place.

On this day, they were doing reinforcement work.

There are other railroad remains in Tokyo, and I would like to report on them before they disappear.

Tuna jaw meat for sashimi was on sale.
In Japan, fresh fish that can be eaten raw is sold for sashimi.
Using a knife and spoon, remove the flesh from the bones and skin.

The white stringy parts are skewered and scalded over a fire before cutting.
Tuna jaw sashimi and seared sashimi are ready to eat.

We enjoyed them with yuzu kosho and soy sauce.

Park

The number of high-rise apartments is increasing in Tokyo.
This is a park above Tatsumi Station on the Yurakucho subway line.

From the park, you can see the high-rise condominiums across the canal.
Even in a city with the latest technology, a park with greenery is an important place to relax.

There were not many people at this time, but later on, many parents and children came to the park.

The towing boat pulled the raft and skillfully went through the water gate.
In Tokyo, many things are still carried by boat.

I couldn't help but look at the raft for a while, as it was just barely wide enough to fit through the gate.
