I stayed at the Dormy Inn in Fukuoka Prefecture on a business trip. One of the pleasures of this hotel is the ramen served at night. In Japan, there is a culture of selling soba noodles and ramen at night stalls.

This festival is held at Kushida Shrine in Fukuoka Prefecture. It is a big festival that has continued for over 700 years. The day before the festival, I was walking around town and saw many mikoshi (portable shrines) being prepared.
I had sweet potatoes, so I cut them into thin strips and fried them. I also stir-fried the beef and added salt, pepper, and starch syrup to make it sweeter. It was delicious.
